How to convert PNG to JPG

1. Add verified files

Select up to 30 PNG files. MIME type, file signature, 50 MB size and 40 MP dimensions are checked.

2. Choose JPG settings

Set JPEG quality, a solid background for transparent pixels, and optional maximum dimensions.

3. Download results

Download each JPG or package every successful conversion into a locally generated ZIP.

JPG cannot store transparency. Transparent pixels are blended with the selected color, and Canvas output normally removes PNG text, EXIF, GPS and camera metadata. Hard output limit: 8000 px per side.

PNG to JPG Converter FAQ

Are PNG images uploaded to a server?

No. Signature checks, decoding, conversion, previews and ZIP creation all happen locally.

Can I batch convert PNG files?

Yes. Add up to 30 genuine PNG images and download successful JPG results individually or as ZIP.

What happens to transparent PNG pixels?

JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent and translucent pixels are blended with the background color you choose.

Does PNG to JPG preserve metadata?

Usually not. Browser Canvas creates a new JPG and normally removes PNG text chunks, EXIF, GPS and camera metadata.
