Files and tool inputs
Browser-capable tools process their inputs on your device. The site server delivers the application files but does not receive the text, images, PDFs, notes, passwords, hashes, or other working content you enter into those tools. Do not assume browser storage is encrypted or suitable for secrets.
Server and network data
Like most websites, the hosting and reverse-proxy systems may record request time, requested URL, response status, IP address, user agent, referrer, and security diagnostics. This information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and measure aggregate reliability of the service.
Browser local storage
The site stores a language preference under pts-language. Online Notepad stores notes and versions locally in your browser, and an older simple notepad may use pts-notepad. These values remain on the device until you clear site data or the tool removes them; they are not transmitted by the current application.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive the address, message, headers, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to reply, investigate the report, protect the service, and maintain a reasonable support record. Do not send sensitive files or credentials.
Third-party services and advertising
No third-party analytics or advertising runtime is currently included. If Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or another provider is enabled later, this policy will identify the provider and purposes before deployment. Where required, advertising or analytics storage will remain disabled until a valid consent choice is collected through an appropriate consent platform.
Retention, rights, and choices
Operational logs are retained only as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting, subject to the hosting configuration. Support email may be retained while a report remains relevant. You can clear local storage through browser controls. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control by contacting us.
Children, changes, and contact
The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect account profiles from children. Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised date. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to the contact address displayed on this page.
