Image resizer FAQ

Are images uploaded?

No. Files are read and resized locally with browser Image and Canvas APIs.

What is the difference between Fit and Fill?

Fit keeps the whole image inside the target and may add background. Fill covers the target and crops excess from the center.

What limits apply?

Files must be under 50 MB, source and output under 40 megapixels, and each output side at most 8000 pixels.

Are animation and EXIF preserved?

No. Animated inputs export as a still frame, and Canvas output normally removes EXIF and camera metadata.
