Bed length is divided by the maximum spacing and rounded up to whole intervals. Adding one gives end hoops, and the final gaps are equalized.
It depends on hoop rise and anchoring allowance. A 4-foot bed with a 20-inch circular rise and 6 inches for anchoring on each side needs about 80 inches of cover width.
With a maximum spacing of 4 feet, the calculator returns three hoops: one at each end and one in the middle. Use closer spacing when the frame or site requires it.
The fabric follows a curved path. This tool calculates the circular arc rather than approximating it with two straight slopes.
A seam may create weak points or pest gaps. The calculator flags a narrow roll and recommends a seamless width; follow the cover manufacturer's joining method if a seam is unavoidable.
