Are notes uploaded to a server?
No. Content and versions stay in localStorage in this browser profile.
Will notes remain after closing the browser?
Normally yes, but clearing site data, private mode, profile removal or device loss can remove them. Back up important work.
Can deleted or overwritten text be recovered?
Trash can restore deleted notes, and Save version keeps up to 15 snapshots per active note.
Can I move notes to another device?
Export the complete JSON backup and import it in the other browser. Local storage is not encrypted, so do not store sensitive secrets.
