No. Applied successively, they produce an equivalent discount of 28%.
When is sales tax applied?

How do I find the original discount percent?
Subtract sale price from original price, divide by original price, then multiply by 100.
Can a fixed discount exceed the original price?
Yes, but the result becomes negative. Check the entered amount when a negative price is not intended.
